Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this covers

Ziponn LLC ("Ziponn," "we," "us") makes software that delivery businesses and restaurants (our "Businesses") use to run their own ordering: customer apps and websites, a driver app, and a business console. This policy explains how we handle information in two different roles.

2. Information we collect

From Businesses: account and contact details of the people who manage the account, business details (names, addresses, stores, menus, hours, delivery areas), and billing information for the Ziponn subscription.

For a Business, about its customers: name, email, phone number, delivery addresses, order history, and, with permission, location to find nearby stores and quote delivery. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

For a Business, about its drivers: name, phone, email and the details a Business asks for during driver onboarding, plus location while a driver is on a delivery.

Automatically: device and app information, and technical logs (such as IP address and request times) used to run, secure and fix the service.

3. How we use information

We use a Business's customer and driver information only to provide the service to that Business. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use one Business's customers to market to another.

4. Who we share it with

5. How we protect it

Each Business's information is kept in its own separate database, access is limited by role, changes are logged, and backups are encrypted and regularly tested by restoring them. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect information against unauthorized access, change or loss.

6. How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as a Business uses Ziponn and as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting duties. When a customer deletes their account, the name and delivery address on their past orders are kept for 120 days after each order, so the Business can answer a payment dispute, and then removed. Some short-lived information is deleted automatically, for example driver sign-ups that are never finished. When a Business leaves Ziponn, it can ask for an export of its data, and we delete it afterward except where the law requires us to keep it.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information. To delete your account, see Delete your account. If you are a customer or driver of a Business, contact that Business first; you can also email us and we will pass your request to the Business and help it respond. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

8. Text messages

Businesses use Ziponn to send texts such as sign-up verification codes and order updates. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop messages of that kind, or HELP for help. Verification codes are sent only when you ask for one. We do not sell or share your phone number or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing.

9. Children

Ziponn is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with its date, and tell Businesses about significant changes.
